An API-421 Oil in Water Separator is a channel system designed to provide quiescent flow conditions. The quiescent flow conditions created by the separator allow the free oil to rise toward the water surface then coalesce into a separate oil phase above the liquid to be processed.
This design allows for proper distribution of the liquid across the vessel diameter minimizing short circuiting and allowing for immediate free oil removal and solids/sludge removal. Water then flows downward through the vessel with the water exiting in the lower section of the vessel. Coalesced oil will flow over an internally adjustable oil weir and then removed through the oil outlet nozzle.

The Enviro-Sep™ Plate Separator receives produced water through the inlet into the primary inlet chamber with solids settling to the bottom of this compartment and free oil forming an interface above the liquid level. Separated liquids pass through a removable distribution plate creating an even flow distribution across the width of the plate pack for optimum flow characteristics.

The Enviro-Cell™ is designed to provide three (3) important phases in oil/water separation. First it provides an efficient method of creating the flotation process with minimum moving parts. Secondly, the Enviro-Cell offers a simple method to remove the separated oil and finally it provides sufficient retention time for the process to work correctly.

The HYDROFLOW™ Black Walnut Shell media filter is the 8th generation in the evolution of walnut shell filters. It brings to the market an innovative filter that provides economic advantages to waste water cleanup applications.
Hydrocyclone Technology accomplishes 90 -97% removal of insoluble oil/organic hydrocarbons Removal efficiency is influenced by physical characteristics of the incoming water stream. Items such as pH, total dissolved and suspended solids, temperature, presence of chemicals, and mixing of multiple streams have a bearing on the separation quality.
The Sumperator is the final stage of the open drain and/or produced water treatment system and is will remove all oil globules larger than 50 micros. The Sumperator should be your preferred caisson for applications where strict adherence to environmental regulations is a concern.
ETS sump tanks are typically used to collect and treat water from drainage collection tanks, oily water runoff and equipment skids. Our Sump tanks come in a range of sizes and configurations to accommodate specific needs. In addition, the tanks are equipped with oil skimmer weir system and oil removal pumps. Coalescing media along with plate packs are available if added efficiency is needed.
Through our partnership with Advanced Sensors, Enviro-Tech can provide Oil-In-Water online monitoring. The OIW-EX can measure oil concentrations from low ppb to 3000PPM. Measured values are recorded every second in the 'Data Logs' and displayed graphically and numerically on the instruments display.

The Enviro-Tech retractable sampler allows for manual effluent sampling on any Enviro-Tech equipment. The design also allows for replacement of the sampling tubing while the equipment remains in operation.
